Scrub – Analyze Missing Contact info on Pocket PC

Here is the list of info that the app can detect :

Once you launch the app , you have to hit scrub for the app to do its magic. I don’t see the reason why there is a need to launch the app and press the button for the app to run.







 Since there are no menu option or any other configuration options, it would be great to see the app remove the extra step of clicking the Scrub button. Once you hit scrub it will throw a warning message telling you it might take a while to do the task and then the app displays details about the missing info. You can drill down each info and directly lauch the contact editor to add the missing info.

The Qur’an Viewer - PPC

The Qur’an Viewer, developed by ash2093, is invaluable to anyone who has memorized or is used to reading in the 13-Lines per page Indo-Pak style Arabic script with full diacritical marks. WVGA (800×480) resolution is an absolute necessity to run this application, any higher or lower resolution will not work and has not been tested.








Two pages are shown on-screen at a time, so that it looks very similar to the mushaf. You can click the page to move next/previous. You can also click the upper part of the page to go next/previous juz or surah.

YouTube for Mobile is a simple, fairly fast, and well-designed application for a variety of Windows Mobile phones that support landscape and portrait views. You'll search for videos through the search bar at the top of the screen, or through Top Rated, Most Viewed, or Most Recent categories. The results are displayed in a horizontal ticker, where you'll view a thumbnail image from each video and read the blurb and ratings below. In the Menu options, you'll find a shortcut key to return to the Home page, a shortcut to search for videos related to your current pick, and tips tucked away in a help menu.



YouTube videos loaded quickly in our tests and played in landscape mode. You can tap to call up the Back button and controls to pause, skip, and adjust the volume; otherwise the video will play full screen. Note that playback quality will vary by device and your connection strength. YouTube's videos will chew through data, so having a monthly data subscription is strongly recommended before downloading the application. YouTube's community aspect and saving favorites are missing from the mobile version. Here's another missed opportunity: search suggestions to keep mobile watchers from invariably awkward typing (and typos.) However, it's good enough as it is that any YouTube fan will find Google's mobile application an easy way to get a video fix.
